Roxanne and Deon Taylor talk FATALE

We’ve all been missing the experience of viewing movies in a theater setting. Now, we seem to finally be returning to a sense of normalcy as more theaters open up. The new film, Fatale, starring Michael Ealy and Hilary Swank, is one you should make a trip to your nearest cinema to check out. It‘s a thriller that explores a domino effect of consequences that ensue when what happens in Vegas doesn’t stay in Vegas.

The movie is directed by Deon Taylor and produced by his wife, Roxanne Taylor. The pair are behind Hidden Empire Film group whose previous films include Black & Blue, The Intruder and the upcoming horror film “Don’t Fear.”

Fatale recently hosted a screening in New Orleans which brought some of the film’s cast and crew to introduce the film. We got to speak with Deon & Roxanne about the movie, filming during a pandemic and what the future of filmmaking looks like moving forward.

In addition to the free movie, fans were also treated to concessions and custom Henry FATALE masks. Check out some images from the New Orleans screening:

We’ll be seeing more soon from the husband and wife team as they became one of the first companies to shoot in the US during the pandemic. That movie, entitled “Don’t Fear,” is a horror film starring Joseph Sikora from Power and T.I.

”Protecting yourself and making sure you can do this stuff safely is a giant task,” Deon said. “The key to all of this is define the moment, don’t let the moment to define you.”

Fatale is out in theaters now and will be available for video on demand January 8.
