We’re all missing live music so much! We’ve gotten accustomed to living room shows and Instagram Live concerts broadcast through our phones. While I appreciate it all, nothing can compare to the energy of live music. Luckily, beginning in July, we’ll have the NOLA Drive-In Concert Series. Brought to you by the geniuses behind Voodoo Fest, the concerts will take place at the Lakefront Arena located at 6801 Franklin Avenue. Venue opens at 5pm and shows run from 6:15-7:45 pm.
July 10 - Tank and the Bangas
July 17 - Galactic
July 24 - The Revivalists
General admission car passes are $100 and VIP is $135. VIP guarantees a spot in the first two rows from the stage - exact location is first come, first served. All tickets must be purchased online in advance, as there will be no ticket selling at the door. Each car space will be about 20’x17’ (roughly the size of three parking spaces.) There will be video screens and festival sound system, but you may also tune in from the radio in your car.
Upon entering, show your printed ticket or your phone (can be done without rolling down your window.) Then head to your parking spot. Feel free to bring blankets, chairs, etc. and tailgate your way within your designated area.
There will be no concessions available, but you are welcomed to bring your own food and non-glass beverages. All guests must arrive in a vehicle, no ride-share dropoffs allowed. Masks are required to be worn except for in your designated tailgate area. Portable restrooms will be provided.
During the event, you can purchase official merch via PayPal or Venmo and have it delivered to your car or mailed to your home. 100% of merch proceeds will benefit Crew Nation, a relief fund for live music crews.
