Moneybagg Yo performed in New Orleans as part of the End of Summer Jam concert along with Yung Bleu and Young Chris. The UNO Lakefront Arena's doors opened at 7pm and DJ Bam kept the crowd entertained with his set from doors until the first act hit the stage. While the show was set to begin at 8pm, the opening act didn't actually start until 10:30.
Young Chris was the first act on the bill and he had some diehard fans in the audience rocking his T-shirts. Some even made their own custom "Da Year of The Real" designs. Along with his original songs, he also dedicated a section to some of the legends who we've lost.
Between sets, Mario da Comic did a standup routine that had the audience cracking up laughing.
Yung Bleu, who has Louisiana ties - being discovered by Boosie, performed some of his current hits including "Your Mines Still" and "Baddest". Immediately after Bleu's set, it was time for the headliner - Moneybagg Yo, whose entrance was preceded by an entourage of friends who remained on stagr for his entire set. Among these, was his girlfriend Ari who ladies screamed for trying to get her attention. The crowd was extremely hype from the second he stepped on stage and rapped every work right along with him. He performed songs including "Wockesha" and "Time Today." He has a great, high energy stage presence and made sure to perform for every inch of the crowd. The show wrapped up a little before midnight after what seemed to be instructions from venue security. "They saying show's over, we gotta go," Moneybagg Yo said. Afterward, the venue cleared out just as quickly as it filled.
