3 Doors Down brought their The Better Life 20th Anniversary tour to New Orleans on Thursday. The concert marked the first return of live concerts to Champions Square since the pandemic. Attendees braved the heat to pack the place from the stairs leading up to the Dome to the very front barricades at the stage. It’s safe to say every one was excited for the return of concerts.
The band was joined by Seether as their opening act on this stop. The tour commemorates the 20th anniversary of the 3 Doors Down’s debut album “The Better Life,” so the setlist includes those songs in their entirety plus all the hits.
Opening up with their 2000s hit “Kryptonite.” Electric guitar riffs paired with Brad Arnold’s vocals sent waves through the adoring crowd who sang along to every word. Phone camera flashes, head knocking and hair swinging could be seen from every angle.
Take a look through some moments from the concert captured by Kaitlyn Morris.
